U10 Gold Boys Team Phoenix Blaze Wins 1st place at the Wings Tournament 2007
Date: May 20, 2007 The Phoenix U10 Boys team had a great weekend at the Wings Tournament in Plymouth. Although the U10 level of play does not have a Championship match, the Phoenix Blaze would of been in the game. With two shut-outs and giving up only one goal in the three game series, points were racking up quickly. The Blaze had no problem finding the net at the opposite end of the field, scoring a combined 13 goals. The fire-power up front came from Collin Wittkowske, Matt Duncan, Gabe Pimsler, and Martin Scholl, while the shut down defense was fronted by Seth Corbin, Andrew Brauch, Noah Reisner, and Skye Schlaeger. Keepers were Colin Cahill and Pierce Nelson. Mike Cera was on I.R. The team is coached by Jeff Duncan. Click Here to return to Home Page.
